After completing my MBA in Marketing in 2007, I began my career in the social media space right as the industry was trying to figure out how to monetize this new channel. Over the next eight years, I worked for various marketing agencies in San Diego, gaining experience across different marketing channels, including digital, direct, traditional, and eCommerce. I also worked across a diverse range of industries, encompassing both B2B and B2C sectors.

Eager to broaden my experience beyond merely implementing strategies provided by clients, I decided to shift my focus and work on the client side. During the latter half of my career, I engaged in a blend of strategy and implementation, where I built brand identities, developed go-to-market plans, and executed integrated marketing strategies.
